Yan Fan

Yan is the co-founder and COO of Code Chrysalis, a software engineering training company with the mission of making Japan a software leader. Before Code Chrysalis, Yan worked in commodities trading in Singapore and as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. In 2016, she co-founded and served as CTO Of a coding bootcamp in Jordan helping place refugees in engineering careers. Born in China and raised in the US, Yan is a graduate of Dartmouth College. She sits on the board of Waffle, an award-winning NPO that provides coding training to teenage girls in Japan.
