Nara Folke
After gaining experience at hospitals and nursing homes and studying human resource development at a graduate school for working adults, I studied abroad in Folke højskole, Denmark in 2020. After returning to Japan, I have been trying to put into practice in Japan the way of life I learned in Denmark. Currently promoting dialogue-based school building in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, Ikoma City, etc.
Transforming society by creating a boarding school in Nara for adults who want to think about their way of life
In today’s stagnant Japan, we create a place where adults can enjoy learning and rethink their way of life. By learning through dialogue, they will have time to reflect on themselves and society, truly enriching the individual and society.
I have the skills and experience to enjoy learning and to use what I learn to approach society. I also have the mindset to confront muddled issues together with my peers.
I believe that when adults learn to change society, public education in Japan can also change.
