A team led by Anna Kreshchenko, a Phoenixi Cohort 2 Fellow and a Kyoto University law student, launched a crowdfunding campaign on May 26 in a bid to help all pregnant women feel safe in giving birth.
As part of its Umenoki: Maternity Care project, the team seeks to raise JPY800,000 over the course of the campaign. The funds raised will be used to expand the functionalities of U+Me Pregnancy, a prenatal care app developed by the team, and scale the implementation.
