Kyoto City announced on 31 July the launch of Kyoto Startup Map*, available online both in English and Japanese. The map lists 34 startups, including Enishia Inc (Phoenixi cohort 2 fellow Shigeo Kohigashi) and 14 innovation centers, accelerators, and incubators, such as Phoenixi’s toberu.
This is part of the city’s effort — in line with a recent national initiative** to the same end — to attract more entrepreneurs from across Japan and the globe by mapping its ecosystem, in turn making it easier to access and contact the business of interest.
